A lot of animations do not take as long as the actual action, causing people to mistakingly not fully finish the reload of their weapons.

Also, delays should if possible be accompanied by an animation (grenades, delays on the AWP, ...) since it gives players a visual feedback which they can instinctively rely on.

    This definitely needs a fix asap. How many time you ended up swtiching your weapon after a "successfull" reload and then switching back and noticed there's still no ammo.

    It feels like a 1/2 - 1 second delay between the reload animation ending and the number of rounds on the hud changing. Fairly often I run out of ammo because I only had a few bullets left when I thought I had reloaded correctly, causing me to die. This needs fixing.

    The same is with c4, how many times I changed to the weapon, because I thought it's planted.

    A bit of extra info for the devs when tweaking animations and timings:

    - Don't look at how long your animation takes and use that as the actual time
    - Look at your designed animation and finish the action when it's finished inside of the animation and not when the animation has finished

    Finishing an action is NOT the same as finishing an animation.

    Per example in the video:

    The action of the reload is finished sooner then the actual animation, there's just a little bit of "leftover" animation where the gun moves to return into its "idle" position. This last bit is NOT the action, it is NOT the reload, the reload is finished, the animation isn't.

    uuh, forgot to say, probably fixed in 1.20: "-Guns are now considered "reloaded" at the point during the reload animation in which they visually appear to be reloaded - this allows you to switch away from a gun after the new magazine has been entered without having to wait until the whole reload animation has finished * the weapon refire delay after starting a reload is not affected."
